I don’t love McDougall lol, I don’t even know him. In fact, Arnold Ehret is a favorite author of mine ( and he promoted fruitarianism) The thing is, what evidence does Dr Fuan;an&hbspmhrve? what people have lived on a diet comprising mostly of green vegetables ( by volume)? Dr McDougall, Barnard, Esselstyn have SOLID evidence, and focus on culture that have lived a long time and also have shown extraordinary results in practitioners at the same time.

It is a shame that with so few couples even TRYING to live the Church’s teaching that some have to be so judgmental about it. “Grave reason” is a mistranslation of the Italian into English. The more recent English version of HV on the Vatican’s website refers to “serious reasons”, weg0;82ll-2rounded reasons” and “acceptable reasons”. The Catechism uses “just reasons”.In fact, Humanae Vitae 10 encourages Catholics to plan their families and to prayerfully discern God’s will in the matter. HV mentions that learning the biology of NFP and learning self-control are part of the couples’ call to responsible parenthood in their marriage vocation.

, but did you get your point across so that they'll change their though process? Your goal should be to gently teach them while they're wrong. Talking to angry people is hard, and this person is obviously upset. Most of the time, it's far more effective to be the calmest voice in the room (or bloresphego, in this case!)
